More than a year after adopting Revy, our lazy human has finally gotten around to adding her picture to the header at the top of the blog. Well, to be fair, the six of us pigs do demand a good chunk of time daily so she isn't entirely to blame.

Revy is a guinea pig who happens to take her treats very seriously.

Apple harvest

Our humans took some time out last weekend to pick apples growing from the apple tree in our backyard. Since we pigs happened to be munching grass nearby they nabbed us for a few snapshots with the harvest. Some of us (namely Abby-Roo) were confused by the sudden change of scenery. However, it didn't take long for the more enterprising among us to realize that we were sitting amid a pile of ripe, juicy apples.

Do we look alike?

Can you tell Belka and Truffle are sisters? The two guineas share a love for cucumber, similar coloring, smaller appetites, sleek physiques, and an unfortunate predisposition towards bladder sludge.

A guinea pig puzzle

While roaming the stacks of a local bookstore our humans stumbled upon a jigsaw puzzle featuring the well known visage of Guinea Pig Over White. Being fairly predictable guinea pig lovers, they brought it home and spent a quiet hour or two putting it together.

 Cute little Truffle seems to be smiling after being given a tender blade of grass to munch on.

Noisy cuddle pigs

Belka and Poof tend to talk a lot when they're being petted during cuddle time. On their own, each pig settles in with a quiet muttering but when held together their voices combine to form a squeaky duet. You can hear their vocalizations in the video above.
