Poof and Abby-Roo, Hollywood pigs

Abby-Roo and Poof haven't had a chance to share their guinea pig Halloween costumes yet, so here they are! Both cavies went as Hollywood movie stars. Abby-Roo was only too happy to strut down the red carpet, showing off her immaculately groomed paws in return for a payment of baby carrots at the end.

Seemingly out of the blue, Truffle completely went off all food earlier this week. One evening she was devouring lettuce with everybody else, by the next afternoon she was sitting with her fur puffed up, refusing to eat or even look at any of her favorite foods.

The other cavies are content with this social hierarchy arrangement and have long since learned not to challenge her when it comes to favorite pigloos or sleeping spots. Mealtimes are the exception. It's every pig for herself when food is involved!

Little Abby-Roo loves being outside on the lawn. When given the opportunity she is content to scurry through the grass, chutting loudly all the while - or attempt to break into the other pigs enclosure, where Poof is always happy to deliver warning bites to show who is boss.
