Bay Area Pignic 2015

How has it been over a month already?! Dozens of guineas and piggy fans turned out for the Marin Bay Area Pignic in August. The pigs sniffed each others' bums, munched on everything in sight, and had a grand time while their humans chatted and exclaimed over the rampant cuteness.
2015 marked the first year that two Bay Area Pignics were held. Turnout at the Marin Pignic was pretty good, with people coming from San Francisco, East Bay, and North Bay. Some attendees drove from as far away as Sacramento - whew!

As usual, the day passed in a blur of (piggy) fur. One family of guineas showed up for the contest in group costume dressed as Joy, Fear, Anger, and Sadness from Inside Out. Each emotion matched part of the wearer's personality. Another pig showed up in a tiny kimono. Dr. Seuss's Thing 1, Thing 2, and The Cat in the Hat also made an appearance. Gotta love the creativity that goes into these costumes.

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped to make Pignic a success!
