Bay Area Pignic 2015
How has it been over a month already?! Dozens of guineas and piggy fans turned out for the Marin Bay Area Pignic in August. The pigs sniffed each others' bums, munched on everything in sight, and had a grand time while their humans chatted and exclaimed over the rampant cuteness.

Join Us For Both 2015 Bay Area Pignics
Yes, that's right - we're happy to share that this year there will be two Bay Area Pignics! In addition to our usual gathering in the Peninsula/South Bay, there will be an event hosted in Marin for North Bay/San Francisco residents. Twice the cuteness, twice the fun.

Bay Area Pignic 2014
"So many guinea pigs. Everywhere, " exclaimed a girl to her brother as they peered at the furballs scampering around the pen. Herds of guinea pigs and their owners turned up to support the Bay Area Pignic last Saturday.

Join us for the 2014 Bay Area Pignic
Mark your calendars! This year's Bay Area Pignic will be held on Saturday, September 13 at Linda Vista Park in Cupertino.
For those who haven't had an opportunity to attend one of these events, pignics are a gathering where guinea pigs and their families come together to socialize. Picture a picnic lunch in the park while your guineas snack beside you on the grass. Multiply that scenario by a few dozen and you have a pignic! If you're as fond of these creatures as I am, it is an event not to be missed.

Pignic 2013 Costume Contest
For many, the costume contest was one of the highlights of the 2013 Bay Area Pignic. The competition drew quite a few participants, including a vampire, a rabbit, a giraffe, and a pair outfitted as Romeo and Juliet.

2012 Bay Area Pignic
The Bay Area Pignic was great fun for both piggies and humans alike. Guinea pigs of all shapes and sizes munched on grass, snoozed in the shade or tucked themselves in hideaways while their owners socialized nearby. Conversations about grooming and boar cleansings could be heard at the nail trimming station while talk of everything from bedding to favorite foods to cages and health topics abounded. Errant wheeks and the familiar sound of pig protests punctuated the air.

OCCH Pignic!
Last weekend our humans went to Orange County Cavy Haven's Pignic! What's a pignic? Well, its like a picnic, except with guinea pigs - except in this case, with many pigs, so it was essentially one big piggy party. Sadly, whee did not get to attend because our humans didn't want to put us through the long drive, but here are some of the pigtures they showed us.
