|"Mom, bring me home!" -Truffle|
Many guinea pigs would be utterly content to spend their entire day on the lawn, alternatively grazing and lounging. Truffle, not so much.
After eating her fill, Truffle has a funny way of letting us know when she wants to return home. Around the 45 minute mark she'll start climbing the grids and scanning the area for the nearest human. Upon hearing someone walk by Truffle puts her dainty front paws partway up the grid and stands waiting until she catches their attention.
|"Approaching human, run!" -Belka & Poof|
While her cagemates are busy running in the opposite direction (note Belka and Poof determinedly scuttling away in the background) Truffle stays in place and actually waits to be picked up. On occasion she has even half climbed into our hands out of eagerness to go back to her cage.
Grass time is fun, but Truffle prefers to snooze in the fleecy comfort of her cozies - safely indoors.
